A grand extravaganza of expansive concept and sound:
lavish - orchestral - spacious. Glistening vitality - very powerful and
inspired. A very dramatic New Age symphony. uuu(highest

Fantasy, flight, light, high romance, all come to mind
upon hearing Richard Vanceunebrouck-Werth's award-winning project, produced and
written with an expertise and ease that is breathtaking.
The sound is impeccably clear, bells shine, voices are
crystal-like. Poetry on one piece is surprisingly effective. Female voices move
in counterpoint in a haunting evocation. It's like a good book you can curl up
in front of the fire with and escape into!

Richard Werth's "Sacred Sojourn" is a cohesive collection of captivating, rhythmic sacred music and sounds that cleverly balances the distinctiveness of each work with the simple, unifying theme of our interconnectedness as spiritual beings.
I was taken on an inspiring and powerful journey through the familiar and unfamiliar, which transcended not only time and space, but transported me profoundly inward as well.
The CD has exquisitely evocative vocals, peaceful nature sounds, powerful drumming, extraordinary guitar and flute, and lovely, often haunting, melodies. It is a deeply moving and transcendent experience.

For those with open minds, Richard Vanceunebrouck-Werth's "Sacred Sojourn" is an unusual treat. Authentic creations of world sacred music without throwing a listener into overwhelm with unfamiliarity is quite a feat. Rare in that one CD takes you to lands of deep meditation and invivicating vitality as well. Destined to be one of my favorites. This music will enrich and delight you.
